Apple will be competing against companies many other devices in the market specially the flagship devices from them. It will be interesting to see how the competition will be heating up as we have also seen Samsung unveiling the Note 4 and the Note 4 Plus.

    HTC One (M8)

HTC One (M8) was one of the big releases this year but couldn’t make it in to the market as its predecessor HTC One (M7) made in the market last year. HTC tried something new and came up with the dual rear camera to its 2014 flagship device that gives depth information of the image. The pricing also was not as impressive as the device was also priced aggressively. Although HTC made up some market later with the plastic and cheaper version of the M8 that lacked the secondary rear camera called as the HTC One E8. Later many other devices also came up from them but they were not as successful.

    Samsung Galaxy S5

The Company’s flagship device has made some promising start early this year when it was launched in the month of April but was unveiled in February at the Mobile World Congress. Although the South Korean Giant retained its traditional design but it came up with the heart rate sensor and finger print scanner that impressed many. As always Samsung priced its flagship aggressively although it was cut down a bit later.
Another important thing here to note is that Samsung released two variants of its flagship device one being a snapdragon 801 and other one is an Exynos version which made no point as even the snapdragon version supported the LTE connectivity. Moreover over the Samsung Galaxy was IP67 rated for dust and water resistance which is a big step over its previous flagship devices.

    LG G3

LG came with 2K display that gave great viewing angles and is also more powerful than its predecessor. The LG G2 that was released was a big success and the G3 was definitely upgrade over it. The camera was retained at 13 MP but had many new features and the most important one was the Laser autofocus that captures images at rapid speeds. Apart from these it also has many other features and is also capable of 4K videos as most of the flagship devices that came this year.
